Thankful Invite Contest

We have a new product! Behold the ultimate Gamer Bags:

Pick your theme and you'll have two bags coming to you!

Seriously, these are awesome! Handmade by myself and my wonderful mother, these bags are so amazing that we are never making them again. Why? It has taken us a year to finish them. Totally worth it!! They are beautiful! We only made a limited number of them so when they are gone... they are gone FOREVER!! So if you want a set, I would order it sooner rather than later.

I'm so thankful these bags are done and ready to sell. Just in time for the holidays! We will be having a Cyber Monday sale so check us out that day. I would recommend following us on Twitter or our Facebook Page for random coupon codes too.

Okay! This month's contest details: Comment below with the one person from Brandon's worlds you would like to invite to your Thanksgiving Dinner and why. Three winners will be chosen randomly for a t-shirt of their choice. Winners will be announced Thanksgiving Day (along with some great coupon codes). We enjoy reading all of  your comments! Good Luck!!

  1. I think Zane would be fun to invite for Thanksgiving. I would make sure all the food was in metal serving dishes and using metal utensils. Then I could say, "Will you please pass the ____?" and then watch him do it with Allomancy. Let's see if he can do it without spilling anything.

  2. I would invite Lightsong. I think it would be awesome to see him interacting with my family in a battle of wits. Plus, I really think he would appreciate the gesture.

  3. I'd invite Wit: there are some things you just can't say to family, but he'll make sure they get said! Plus, he's sure to have good stories.

  4. Hands down Kelsier. Somebody that inherently fun to be around would help avoid some unnecessarily awkward conversations.

  5. I'd invite Blushweaver. I think we all know why... ;-)

  6. I'd invite Wayne, not just for his ready wit but even if he "bartered" for the turkey he might leave behind a bowler hat. Also nice one gandy93!

  7. I'd invite Kaise. She'd help make sure we didn't have leftovers sticking around for too long afterward.

  8. I'd invite Elend. He would be interesting to talk to, and he seems like the type to enjoy the geeky board games we play after dinner.

  9. No contest: Hoid.

The ultimate storyteller; based on one or two other storytellers i know, Hoid would be ready to fill silences in conversation and equally ready to listen, to learn a new story.

  10. We'd invite Vin from Mistborn (the first book). She needs a little more meat on her bones and some energy boost to help her out in the next two books.

  11. I would invite Dalina Kholin to Thanksgiving, and hope there is a Storm during the meal, just to see what cool things he will do and say.

  12. It's a tie between Kaladin and Elend. Elend would make a great conversationalist with his scholarly wit (I guess I could invite Kelsier, but he sometimes scares me with his extreme methods).
Kaladin on the other hand would be great if someone got injured, isn't a bad cook himself, and he could easily pass over some food from the other side of the table with some gravity manipulation.

  13. Sazed/Harmony. Definitely. I doubt he'd lie, and i bet he wouldn't RAFO my questions :)

  14. I would invite Ati/Ruin. I think he would appreciate the act of turning a feast of food into naps. Talk about entropy ;)

Plus he strikes me as the most tragic character so far in Brandon's work. I would love to hear his backstory and take on the universe.

  15. I would invite Sazed... he would provide fantastic dinner conversation and be ever the polite guest!

  16. Well.. Of course I would invite Kiin from "Etlantris" and make him cook for me! I think I'm in the mood for Jindonese... on second thought maybe I'll have something a little more Duladen style!

  17. I would have to invite Vin, because she is hot... She is hot. And... she is hot.

  18. Definitely Hoid. I've got questions, and I'm sure he's got answers. Even if he doesn't share those answers, I could compare how he looks with his description(s) in the books and be amused by the differences.

  19. Hoid, but I would refuse to feed him if he RAFO'd me.

(Okay, I might not be that mean...but it would be tempting.)

  20. Lightsong. He would definitely keep us entertained.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sazed would be the most interesting to have dinner conversation with, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Spook. Because it would be hilarious to see my relatives all confused about his slang.

And really, the man made said slang High Imperial. How can I not love a sense of humor like that?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sazed, mainly because I think he would be the most...interesting to have around my devoutly catholic Uncle.

  24. Oh come on, that's easy.. After the dinner parties in TWoK, I would totally have "Wit", better known as the mysterious Hoid as the dinner guest for Thanksgiving. I mean, with that sence of humor, THAT would make him, without a shadow of a doubt, the most awesome dinner companion. IMHO.. Tho, now that I think about it.. Human would be very close to the top of that list.. Just because it would be HILARIOUSLY hysterical to watch my mother make HIM eat at the dinner table "properly and with correct etiguette and manners"... LOL ^_^

  25. I would invite a Subsumer Ferring, to make sure there aren't any leftovers.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Wit for sure. You can always use some witty banter around the Thanksgiving table!

    ReplyDelete
  27. This isn't really a person, but it's close enough... I'd definitely invite TenSoon. After dinner, he could become a turkey!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I would invite Lightsong (while secretly also inviting Hoid in the persona as Wit), then sit back and enjoy their back and forth all night. Maybe they could finally put my brothers in their place around the Thanksgiving table!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Vasher: I don't care if he doesn't have any social skills, neither do I. We're both scholars, and I bet I could get him to reveal all the worldbuilding backstory that Brandon coyly hinted at, and then left for a sequel not to be published for many years.

  30. It's hard for me to not say Ham, because obviously philosophical discussions at the Thanksgiving table are always appropriate, but I'm going to go with Lightsong. Self-deprecating cheer and thinly veiled insults are my forte; I could use a partner.

  31. I think I'd invite Marasi. I think she'd get along well with my nerdy family.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Sazed because I've always had a soft spot for him. He's lived a hard life, etc. but still has a huge amount of empathy after all he has faced.

  33. Question is it still possible to get the gamer bags??!!!!
